New cameraaa :D

As state in an earlier post I got my new camera! yay!!
I really wanted it for the MIB3 premiere but we all know how that story ended...*sniff*

But now I want it for the sunny weather, to capture summer memories and for the uni's Summer Ball!❤

Before I show you this bad boy of a camera I'll take you through my camera memory lane........

This camera was my first love :') The camera I first bought on Freshers Week❤ This Samsung set me back around £70 - £78, eek! but the quality was fantastic and captured so many good times from the 1st year of uni. However I made the huge mistake of not buying a case!
Then the dreaded day came when my water spilt in my bag and well...I'm sure you can figure out the rest :( R.I.P
(btw I still have it so if you know anyone who wants a water damaged camera let me know lol)

This next camera (below) was a bit bulkier and I can't even remember the make lol I bought it from the shop CEX (which I never know how to pronounce as it is such an awkward name lol!) for around £50 and I was happy with it!
Wasn't the best quality and did it match my first one? nope but it still captured many a memory. But then it started acting up out of the blue! the lens started making weird sounds so I took it back and got £45 for it...I guess that's second hand for you!

This camera was a Fujifilm FinePix L55 camera I believe and set me back only £48 from Argos, there was nothing wrong with it but it just didn't feel right.

My boyfriend once said "I don't see what the big deal is it's only to take pictures" but a camera has to do way more than that to please me lol and this camera felt plasticy! (fussy I know :P ) The camera had no warrentee not even 28 days so sold it on Ebay for £33 :)

Now finally we get to my new babes :D This camera I bought from Asda and it comes with a years warrentee plus 6 free prints! :D (btw all these cameras are chargeable, can't be faffing with batteries lol). It's from FujiFilm again but is the Finepix Z90 it cost £59 it's my favourite camera so far! Hard to believe lol. And the best part is.....it's hot PINK!......

You slide down the slidey bit (always one great for terminology me ;) to turn it on and it's brilliant! It doesn't feel plastic, the screen is touch screen, the quality is HD and you can upload straight to Youtube and Facebook from the camera! :D
Here are a few snaps I've taken already.....

(Panoramic setting!!❤)

Can't wait to get out and use it properly in the sunshine instead of just taking pics of myself haha! (darn exam season)
Oh yeah and I now have a camera case ;)

Recent internet bargains!❤

(Quick update before I start: In my 'Excitement' post I stated I'd be going to the Men in Black 3 premiere but due to exams I wasn't able to make it, so no snaps from that any time soon *sniff*)

First up are the lipsticks, been looking for ones which suit me and are quite moisturing recently and I got a few tips from friends that Sleek and Revlon do some pretty good ones so I started an online hunt!
(once again please excuse the Blackberry camera quality, new camera on the way!)

I purchased (left to right) Revlon Colour Burst lipstick in Sienna, Sleek true colour lipstick in Naked, Papaya  Punch and Liqueur. (Papaya Punch is a Matte gloss and the rest are Sheen, the fact it's Matte means it is drying but a bit of Asda Clear lipgloss soon sorted that out haha)

I really like them all but my favourite is Sienna its such a pretty colour and is extremely wearable. Here's a few pictures of me wearing it, it is much more of a red colour but once again my camera quality has failed me lol

Another item I purchased was from Sleek again but it's a blush from their Caribbean collection which I think has been discontinued that's why I bought one from Ebay (new) and this one is called Aruba...

I loveee Sleeks blushes because they are literally so bright! The picture doesn't do it justice, it shows up so well darker skin tones but can be used on anyone!

All about hair ❤

So I did it! finally purchased some virgin Brazilian hair! Didn't do it to jump on a band wagon but it was because I was genuinely fed up of my Premium Now/Too weaves always knotting up and tangling after 2 weeks lol.

As stated in my previous post I bought the hair from The Boss Look and you can find their website....here :)

I bought 3 bundles, two 18 inches at £55 each and one 16 inch bundle at £50 and the texture is called wavy.
I also got the hair done at The Boss Look for an extra £30
Here's a picture of what it looked like when I first got my hair done:
(I apologise beforehand for the quality of the pictures, I sold my camera so I can get a better one and I'm using my Blackberry for the moment *cries*)

It was dark - brown and had only one layer from where I had bought the 16 inch and I liked it but I knew I could do so much more with it so I got a bit creative....

I cut layers around my face and then applied the 'B Blonde' hair lightener (bleach) I bought from Superdrug for £5.61.

Here's a few snaps of how I've been styling it:

I also got fed up of my fuzzy parting as I didn't relax my hair before getting the weave so I somehow managed to relax just my parting LOL, here's a few pictures of that and after I blended it with gel.

I'm always prone to jumping on Youtube bandwagons haha, when ever I see there's a product lots of people are using on there I always run to get it. For example I have just bought John Frieda Frizz - Ease Extra Strength serum from Amazon as it was cheaper than Superdrug, which is supposed to be amazing!

(Picture not taken by me)

Today I also ran to Superdrug to pick up Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner which smells beautiful!

The hair is great so far and I love the natural curl of it after I wash it, I'm also making sure that I look after my hair underneath a lot better this time to prevent breakage.

Excitement!!!

I'm sure nothing can beat the feeling of being excited!! perhaps maybe love but still excitement is an amazing emotion!

This is such a random post but I just felt like writing about a few things haha!

Firstly I'm getting my hair done soon by a company called The Boss Look woohoo! They do such gorgeous hair and I'm trying out Virgin Brazilian for the first time which should be arriving in the post tomorrow!

Check out The Boss Look ....here and browse their gorgeous pictures! Also follow them on Twitter... @TheBossLook and I will make sure to do a review :D

Second cause for excitement is that the Men in Black III premiere is coming to London soon! Hurray!
On the 16th May me and my sister will be travelling to Leicester Square to stand in a crowd for hours but it will be so worth it! I will be sure to take pictures to post on here. If I manage to get a picture with Will I think I will bounce off the walls LOL

So excited!! (as if you couldn't tell hah!) Things just seem to be going well at the moment besides exams, job hunting and my healthy eating swaying off track (you would have gained a pound just looking at the Chocolate cake I made and ate yesterday haha!) but I'm trying to keep a positive outlook on everything and it should all be just fine.

Enjoy life! have a positive outlook and be excited about the little things! I guarantee you will enjoy your days so much more:)

Smoooothieeeeeessssss

This post is going to be about my new found love of......SMOOTHIES!

I'm on a total health kick at the moment....like many times before haha, but this time I'm determined to make it last and to see results! Along with hitting the gym most days of the week I've been putting my blender to good use and making some delicious slushy treats!

My first one was called Very Very Berry (please don't laugh at my *ahem* extremely creative names lool)

Very Very Berry

Ingredients

Hand full of frozen mixed summer berries from Asda (Raspberries, blackberries, blueberries)
Dollop of Yoghurt (preferably Greek or Plain)
Splash of Milk (preferably Soy but any will do)
Water( if it's too thick)

Put all in blender, push the button and Bleeeenddd!

I find this so fun and love seeing the vibrant colours that form from all the fruit! It's low in calories, high in Vitamins and good stuff and kills the dreaded sweet tooth!

Any one that knows me knows that I'm the first one looking at the dessert menu even before the main meal haha! but these smoothies are so naturally sweet it removes any want for chocolate goodies, resulting in in-taking less calories....result!

Next up we have Mellow Yellow (lol)

Mellow Yellow

Ingredients

1 Banana
1 Orange (peeled and segmented, could probably use Orange Juice but I had none at the time)
Handful or half a cup of Pineapple chunks with juice
Dollop of Yoghurt (preferably Greek or Plain)

Blend & Enjoy! made in a matter of minutes
YUM!

You could also substitute the milk and yoghurt for ice and have a lovely frozen slushy treat!

God bless
