My first wish list!!

(None of the below pictures belong to me)
I've never done a post like this but pay day is drawing near (wahooooooooo!!) and I have a few things on my mind that I really would love to purchase, I highly doubt I will get them all at once but it doesn't hurt to get them down on (electronic) paper haha.

1) MAC Matchmaster foundation £27

I got a tester from my local MAC counter & fell in love with this foundation! I believe I am shade 8.5 and I can't wait to get it! Let's just hope it really is a "Matchmaster" because I have a tendency to get foundations in slightly the wrong shade lol

2) White Blazer Zara £49.99

White blazers are gorgeous and a great staple to have! I hardly ever buy items of clothing over £30 but for this I sooooo would lol. I can imagine pairing it with a pair of jeans and black heels*day dreamssss*
Not sure if this is the exact blazer I tried on in Zara but it is very similar.

3) Vera Wang Pink Princess Eau de toilette £24 - £35 depending on shop & bottle size

So I was taking a walk through Boots and the display for this perfume really caught my eye! The bottle is pretty and typically girlie and the scent is incredible! It's floral & fruity at the same time and one spray lasted for ages!

4) Revlon ColourBurst Lip butters £7.99

My lips cannot deal with anything drying on them as they are already pretty dry so when I saw these are lip butters and give you great colour and moisture I had to add them to my list! Apparently they are really pigmented too which is always a plus! Haven't decided on which colour though.

5) Winged/ Cat eye sunglasses

I'm not 100% sure if "winged" is the correct term for these glasses as I kept finding glasses with actual wings designs on them LOL but I love the shape of these frames and would totally wear them this summer even just on the way to work haha!

Lush!! If you know where I can get a pair similar to these please let me know!

6) Tickets to Hawaii or Cuba for me & my closest friends

Ah one day, one day :")

So what do you think of my list? I'm sureee there is more but I can't remember lol
Anything you would advise against or recommend?

Travel with me: Malta!

(All pictures taken by me unless stated)
Those who have read some of my previous posts will know that I had a trip to Malta coming up, it was 20th - 27th March and it was awesome!❤

I hadn't been out of the country since visiting Jamaica in August 2011 (View post here) so it was lovely to get out of the country and visit somewhere new even if it was for uni haha,

I went with my Tourism class (& also a geography class but they stayed in another hotel so we only saw them at the airport) and we all had a laugh, the reason we went was for our Residential field course module where we have to do three presentations on different places in Malta.

For the first half of the trip we took the coach each day to lots of different places to get inspiration, find ideas and do research, the second half was mainly relaxing in the hotel or going for wanders then doing the presentations (found out at the end of the trip my group got a 2:1 woop!!)
(Pictures ranging from the Golden Bay to Cocktails in Gozo, Nutella ice cream in Valletta- the capital and the streets of Mdina)
(Churches, roof of the hotel, inside a Maltese university- bottom left & more)
The hotel we stayed in was called the Maritim Antonine Hotel and was 4* (Thanks uni!) It was a beautiful location and had various aspects for four stardom but some parts seemed a bit lower (especially the unwanted visit from ants in our room *shudders*)...now before you throw virtual bricks at me I am NOT complaining haha, we had a lovely stay and who can complain when we didn't have to pay lol

Malta itself was different to how I expected! The strong influences of various cultures were beautiful! From the Greek styled roof tops to the thin Italian streets and also North African influences.

(Top right is a flat ceiling in a church painted to look like a dome! Amazing!)

Highlights!

  • The ice cream! - Trust my first point to be on food lol but the local ice cream really was lovely, they have such a broad range of flavours! From chewing gum to Nutella! haha
  • The food! - Everything is so cheap and cheerful in Malta, in the supermarkets AND in the restaurants and cafe's...loved it! This "Sandwich" set me back only €3.50 and was so tasty!...
  • Going for wanders! - I can be a person who likes their own space sometimes, not in a rude way! But I loved taking my time and going through all the quaint shops and going around the streets looking at the houses, was so nice :')
  • Gozo! - Gozo is another island near Malta, it's still apart of Malta but the people like to be called Gozians instead of Maltese, it only costed around €4.60 for a return ferry trip and it was such a nice place! and   food and drink are soo cheap there! (Malta is cheap too but Gozo just topped it!...life of a bargain hunter haha) We done some surveys and had lunch and a few drinks, was a great place to relax.
The Blue Grotto :') (Picture from Google)
  • The people! - Where ever you go people normally say "the locals are nice" etc but in Malta they really are! So friendly and welcoming, even got a hug on the way home haha!
  • The Blue Grotto!- This was one of my faaavourite places in Malta! So beautiful! My phone died so I didn't get to take any pics but will upload one from Google...

Sorry this post was so picture heavy but trust me it took me ages to get down to even this many haha!
Malta isn't always a tourist hotspot and it was quiet when we went (off peak season) but that added to the beauty and I would go back in a heartbeat :')

Thanks Malta for your great food, great people, great history & the sunshine I have craved

Malta! Malta! Malta!

Note: None of the below pictures belong to me, ALL rights reserved to each photographer, media person etc

Ahhhhhhh I am so excited!

.....Next March me and my Tourism Management class will be going to Malta! All expenses paid by uni except for lunch! Granted we have to do presentations most evenings but hey travelling is travelling!

I haven't been on a plane since August 2011 to Jamaica which was my very first time so going without my siblings on a plane will be a nerve wrecking but exciting experience!

Couple facts about Malta!

1. Malta is quite close to North Africa, think Libya, Tunisia

2. In Malta 3 pin sockets are used like in the UK! Woo hoo no adapters needed lol

3. Weather in March ranges from around 16 - 19 degrees Celsius so not overly hot but still nice weather.

4. The people of Malta speak Maltese and NOT Spanish as I had previously assumed lol

5. To give you an example of how small Malta is, Jamaica (which is pretty small itself) i10,990 square kilometers and has a population of 2,709,300 whereas Malta is only 316 square kilometres and has a population of just 419,000 people! Small but perfectly formed!....

6. According to Acts 28 Paul The Apostle was stranded in Malta! and the people of the island showed 'Unusual kindness' awww

7.The capital of Malta is Valletta (we will be visiting Mellieha in North West Malta)

8. Kif Inti means "How are you" & Bongu is "Good morning"

I also found on YouTube this video on Malta, the music is..... a little strange lol but the country looks gorgeousss *day dreams*

Sooo excited to go, will make sure to do a post afterwards
Ever been to Malta? Any thing you recommend going to see or do?
