3 Months to hit my goal!

(Note: Pictures not taken by me)
.......well just over 3 months. Now that Christmas is almost done and dusted (Merry Christmas by the way!! :D ) and the New Year is almost upon us I realise how much closer I want to be to my goals, I really want to achieve my fitness goals and be the healthiest I have ever been by March!
What's happening in March? My uni trip to Malta!...

Now I know its a uni trip and we will have some work to do but it's great to have something to work towards! (Plus there is an indoor and outdoor pool in the hotel and I want to make full use of both whilst looking good! haha)

Now I'm not usually one for making New Years Resolutions as I sometimes relate them to something people never end up finishing and I reaaaaally want to get to my goal and stick to it.....so this will be a kind of "Life Time Resolution" lol

So how am I planning to achieve these goals after failing sooo many times?......

Simple really! Just stepping up my work out routine and including more strength exercises, more squats and more lunges and also by eating better and attempting to limit junk to once a week or less.

I also may take these green tea supplements...

I used to take them around 3 years ago and they gave me so much energy and made my skin so clear! They are not diet pills to be depended upon but can boost your metabolism to help you as you work out and eat right! You can purchase them from Holland & Barrett (Try and buy when they have their famous 1p sale on! Buy one and get another pack for a penny! Bargain!)

I will also be drinking a heck of a lot more water!!....

I want really want to lose about 6/7 pounds then tighten everywhere up lol!
Got any 'New Years' goals?

God Bless

I gave my sis a make over :D...

...Not that she needed it! But she wanted one so we went make up shopping and I showed her some pretty cool products not that I'm an expert but I've read up on enough to know whats crap and whats decent lol

What shop did we hit? Superdrug of course! My favourite!

Okay this is my sis :D (left) natural beauty....

and this is what we picked up!

Maybelline FIT Foundation in shade 355, this stuff is awesome! Great coverage and blends to both our skin tones when they are slightly different! (I picked up one too heehee)

We love Sleek! This is their Suede Effect pressed powder, awesome but can look too cakey if you apply too much

If you saw my last post you will see I have this next product too! This one is in the slightly darker shade and is so awesome! It's the corrector and concealer palette by Sleek (again lol), great for under your eyes and highlighting your brows (blend well as it is quite thick)

Also by Sleek is a product from their Blush By 3 Collection which is incredible! The blushes are so pigmented and come out amazing! You have to watch how much colour you use though, for obvious reasons  haha so it's best to start light and build up the colour.

Next up was a brown eye brow pencil by MUA, only £1!

This product is epic! Its MUA's Gel liner and is only £3 creates a gorgeous dark line doesn't fade much at all!

And some little starter brushes , the left set are some cheap ones from Wilkinsons and the right is a blending brush from Superdrug

Before!

After! (left)

Finished look for her 21st birthday!

Doesn't she look pretty! :')

Recent Purchases & Randomness ❤

(All photos have been taken by me)
Haven't been on here in a longgg time! For a mix of reasons, mainly not having internet in my uni house -___-  (Thanks BT) and trying to complete my essays! But as I'm home for the holidays I thought I'd try and write a bit more.

This post is on bits and bobs I've picked up recently and how much I'm loving them...or not much so!

First up is a great lip gloss my sister picked up for me in Kiko Cosmetics at Westfield, Stratford. It is an extra volume, plumping and moisturising gloss, a gorgeous pink colour, slightly shimmery and totally moisturising! I hate when you put lip gloss on and it feels like it melts away in two seconds but this stays for ages and leaves no nasty residue. It retails for £6.90 on the website but in the shop it was only £3! Bargain!

The next couple of things I picked up in Canterbury when browsing the shops after uni....

The below photos are of the Corrector and Concealer Palette from Sleek which I bought for around £7 in Superdrug and is so worth it because I absolutely rinse it haha! I use it pretty much everyday, It's so good for covering dark circles and highlighting your eyebrows!
The lighter shade in the first circle is the corrector, the middle is concealer and the last is a setting powder. The only problem is with the concealer (middle circle) you have to blend it well as it is thick and if you don't you will look odd......trust me lol

(Left to right: Corrector, Concealer, Setting Powder)
Next up is Pout Paint also by Sleek!
Finally bought one, I originally wanted the bright red one called Pin Up but my local didn't have them in stock at the time :( So I bought my next favourite...Minx!

They retail for £4.99 and are so pretty! They only come in 8ml tubes but last for ages as they are so thick and the tiniest dot creates the craziest amount of colour!
Collect all 11 shades and mix them to make new colours!! Lots of  fun

They apply like a lip GLOSS, have the colour of a lip STICK and have the staying power of a lip STAIN! I must admit I don't use it often as my lips are quite dry and cracks sometimes show :'( (any remedies would be so helpful :D

See the dry bit? *sigh* :(

I also reaaaaaaallly wanted a burgundy nail polish because it was around the time where burgundy was EVERY WHERE lol you know what I mean, I was also obsessed with the colour so I scoured Superdrug for a pretty shade and came up with this...Collection 2000 Lasting Colour 10 Day Wear in Damson Jam which was around £2.99 ...Love it! Stays on for a long time too.

Lastly I bought a fur stole from H&M which was around £12, random but I really wanted one lol

Love a good shop!

Firstly this is my first blog that im writing on my phone so bare with me if it looks a bit dodgey Haha!

I bought a 15 colour concealer palette off ebay which took foreverrrr to get to me but i think its worth it as it was only £5!! Just make sure you check the reviews to see if the seller is reliable -_____- lol

Here's some pictures :D...

Malta! Malta! Malta!

Note: None of the below pictures belong to me, ALL rights reserved to each photographer, media person etc

Ahhhhhhh I am so excited!

.....Next March me and my Tourism Management class will be going to Malta! All expenses paid by uni except for lunch! Granted we have to do presentations most evenings but hey travelling is travelling!

I haven't been on a plane since August 2011 to Jamaica which was my very first time so going without my siblings on a plane will be a nerve wrecking but exciting experience!

Couple facts about Malta!

1. Malta is quite close to North Africa, think Libya, Tunisia

2. In Malta 3 pin sockets are used like in the UK! Woo hoo no adapters needed lol

3. Weather in March ranges from around 16 - 19 degrees Celsius so not overly hot but still nice weather.

4. The people of Malta speak Maltese and NOT Spanish as I had previously assumed lol

5. To give you an example of how small Malta is, Jamaica (which is pretty small itself) i10,990 square kilometers and has a population of 2,709,300 whereas Malta is only 316 square kilometres and has a population of just 419,000 people! Small but perfectly formed!....

6. According to Acts 28 Paul The Apostle was stranded in Malta! and the people of the island showed 'Unusual kindness' awww

7.The capital of Malta is Valletta (we will be visiting Mellieha in North West Malta)

8. Kif Inti means "How are you" & Bongu is "Good morning"

I also found on YouTube this video on Malta, the music is..... a little strange lol but the country looks gorgeousss *day dreams*

Sooo excited to go, will make sure to do a post afterwards
Ever been to Malta? Any thing you recommend going to see or do?

Going virgin for a 2nd time!

Haha okay the title may be a little strange but hey it got you here right!

What the title means is that I bought some more Virgin Brazilian hair! I really wanted to try long straight hair so I thought I'd give it a try and as I cut the tracks of my last Brazilian (NEVER do that lol) it all shed and there was definitelyyyy no reusing it lol

I've been meaning to do this post for a while now but I thought I'd get some wear into it so I can see how it reallllly acts lol

I bought the hair from a company called My Hair Obsessions (you can find their Facebook page here) I bought it from their Ebay store, I was quite sceptical at first because I had never heard of the company & it's a lot of money to spend over Ebay but the reviews seemed good and I liked that you could buy groups of bundles for one price instead of buying them individually.
I bought inches 14, 16, 18 & 20 for one price of £180 (thank goodness for working over the summer lol) It may seem a lot but anyone who's shopped around can tell you this is a gooood price!

The deliver was only £4 & it was First Class post! (I had to wait a few days longer as post obviously doesn't deliver on weekends but that's not the company's fault of course)

When it did arrive I was so pleased! Here's how the bundles were packaged....

They arrived all in one pouch, seemed small at first but yep they were all in there!

Sorry for the bad quality but each bundle came with a label with the type of hair ticked, the inch circled, the texture circled & also tells you how much it weighs
Layed out in height (inch) order lol

The lovely and very talented Patricia from P Belle beauty done my hair for me, her company PBelleBeauty are based in Canterbury & London and she charges extremely good prices! Especially considering she comes to you, you can find her Facebook page here and her Twitter page here. She talks through everything she does step by step and always makes sure you're happy with the result, talking of results here's how my hair came out!....

The hair was really silky and had extremely minimum shedding!
One week with the hair it's lost a lot of its shine & seems more dry even though the shedding is still extremely low....

It still looks pretty good though and I found a tip on Youtube that helps with dryness..

1.Brush out the hair
2. Dampen the hair but don't saturate it
3.Use a small amount of frizz serum
4.Straighten

Here's the serum I used....
It is Shockwaves Shine & Anti Frizz serum with heat protectant.

Anyway just thought I'd share what I'm up to with my hair, was considering bleaching the tips but I don't want it to get any dryer.

Know how to lighten your hair without bleach? Drop me a comment below!
